I was viewing the how-to video from LightroomKillerTips of edit an image in PS being transfer from LR.

After open the photo as "smart object in PS" from LR as one layer as told, additional "new smart object via copy", another layer for mask, and I heard “command-option-shift” for Mac for create a layer of the result of these two layers, I tried it but the third layer haven’t come out, would anyone please tell me where am I wrong please?
