Title: GREAT NEWS FROM LEAF IMAGING - INCLUDING Afi USERS!
Post by: philipmccormick on May 06, 2010, 03:08:03 pm
Got the following in a newsletter from Leaf Imaging today. As an Afi II-10 user I'm very pleased. Don't know how long this will last in today's climate but good for now...

Dear PHILIP,

Leaf is happy to share with you that on May 10, 2010, it will assume full responsibility for service and technical support of all Leaf digital camera backs, including legacy Leaf products and the Leaf AFi camera systems.

Leaf Imaging has signed an agreement with Kodak, according to which all technical service and support responsibilities are being transferred from Kodak to Leaf Imaging. This agreement covers service and support both for systems that are under warranty and for those that are out of warranty worldwide.

As a result, beginning May 10, 2010, Leaf Imaging will become a single resource for service and support to the entire Leaf customer base, which will now be able to work directly with the Leaf distribution and support partners to realize the best possible service.

For Leaf support in your region, please contact your local Leaf partner. A list of Leaf partners is available at: http://www.leaf-photography.com/dealers.asp (http://www.leaf-photography.com/dealers.asp)

For additional information, and to contact Leaf support online, please see: http://www.leaf-photography.com/support.asp" (http://www.leaf-photography.com/support.asp")

I wonder if this means Phase/Leaf has also reacquired rights to Hy6/AFi platform from Kodak.
