It's simple and effective. The stormy sky mimics the shape of some of the grass and leads the eye through the whole image like an implied circle. I very much like the texture of the grasses and how the tree elements help to bring what appears to be an austere, early spring look to life. It's the light that ties everything together. Wonderful image.

I like it! I don't know if it was your intent, but you have given the meadow a slightly sinister feel, and that's very unusual for this subject.
