Hi,
Does anyone is still working with the Polapan 55 and/or Gigabitfilm?
I can not find a dealer for gigabitfilm.
I am very interested by those films.
Thank you very much
Fred.

The Rollei ATP 1.1 is identical to the Gigabitfilm, except for the developer, which was developed by Spur for Rollei.

I still have 4 boxes of the Pola type 55 and have been working just a little bit with the ATP 1.1 - and it´s is on par with the Tech Pan !!! No doubt in my mind.
But the chemicals and film is still too expensive - and I would like to see the ATP in sheets also - whooooaaaa :-)
But just a small wish :-)

I heard that the Gigabitfilm is also the same that the Agfa Copex Rapid Pan.
Could it be possible that it is the same product under different names?

I think if they produce that it is the end of digital

That was the case for the old Gigabit film, the actual one is a new development and is sold by Rollei/Maco, Gigabit and Spur with their own (different) developers.

Try ludwig<at>gigabitfilm<dot>de The website www.gigabitfilm.de is still up and here you can find full contact details. But my impression is that the company no longer is in business.
Around 2004/2003 I bought a box of 4x5. I did shoot a few sheets but actually, given the limited enlargement at printing, the whole was questionable and I sticked with TMX in readyloads.
For 35mm YMMV.
