Title: Tethered shooting with D700

I may be doing some studio portrait work and think that shooting tethered would be very convenient. I have no idea if this is possible with a D700 or what software I would need. Any help will be much appreciated.

Have used it on my D90, works with D700 as well.

I know this is late in coming, but if you're still looking, I cannot recommend NK Remote by Breeze highly enough. Back when I used a Canon G-2, Breezebrowser worked so well at raw conversion that I wondered why Canon even bothered with their own software. (I understand it's much better now, though.)

So last winter I installed Breeze's NK Remote software for my D-300. Even though Breeze acknowledged that their program wasn't set up for my Vista 64-bit operating system, I took a chance and found that it worked flawlessly. I have never installed a piece of software and had it do exactly, simply and clearly what it was supposed to, but NK Remote did just that. I have since used the program with a D-90 and a D-700. Same result: consistent and absolutely trouble free.

One note: NK Remote is also designed to work as a "photobooth" function. I haven't used that part of the program so I won't comment on it, but for regular tethering, it shouldn't come into play, anyway.

Another note: there is also a Mac version available.
