When I was using Alpa, their focussing hood simply had too little magnification, so I had one custom made using professionally machined parts, small leather bag bellows and a Leica 8x loupe. The custom hood cost me $800 to have made and the Leica Loupe cost $250.00_____. I spent a total of $1050.00___ . This is not a homemade job, but something you would expect Alpa to have made. It's very similar to theirs except for the higher powered Leica Loupe. I have gone back to using my DSLR and have sold all of my Alpa view camera equipment except for this. I'm asking $450.00____.
