Title: Hasselblad Phocus on Macbook Pro 13" ?
Post by: choen on August 22, 2009, 12:20:03 pm
As per topic: Is the Macbook Pro 13" powerful enough to run Hasselblad Phocus?

Unlike the older software (Flexcolor), Phocus seems to be sucking up a lot of juice when viewing files at 100%. Even more so when the anti moire feature is used.

I am asking this because I seem to be doing a lot more on location jobs these days, so I am looking for a smallish laptop (preferable 13"). The lighter the better, you know. The one thing that really bugs me about the current macbooks are the stupid glass screen.

If not mac, any other recommendations from you guys? It has to be light, small (but not too small), has firewire for tethering, and a powerful enough cpu and gpu.

Thanks!

The 15" is great, handles phocus well and you can roder it with a matte screen
