Title: Focusing Screen for 5dm2?

Is their any difference in the Eg series of focusing screens verses the Ec series?  I have an old Ec-D (grid lined) screen for the 1 series cameras and have placed it in my 5dm2 but am wondering the difference between it and what is specified for the camera the Eg screens? Any insights would be welcome. thanks jeff

The 5D screens in the 5DII are too dark. I tried that initially but eventually had Bill Maxwell engrave a rule of thirds grid on a stock 5DII screen about $50
