Title: Catbird at Akron Zoo
Post by: dalethorn on May 03, 2009, 10:39:31 pm
On trips to the zoo, California or Ohio, I seem to get as many photos of non-resident (wild) animals as I do of the interned kind.  These are very low-res photos due to the rapid movements of the bird, particularly the second due to subject movement within the frame. Based on long experience with the pocket-zoom camera, in this case the ZS3, this is typical of what I can capture with small birds.  Sometimes, as with the swallows posted previously, I can do better when I can walk up close to the birds, but it's rare that they let you get that close.
