Title: Lightroom 2.3

I am currently running Lightroom 2.2 on a MacBook Pro.
I understand there is an update to 2.3, however when I click on "Check For Updates" it states I am using the most current version.
Did check http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Lightroom_2.3 (http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Lightroom_2.3) and saw there is a 2.3 version.
Now I am assuming that 2.3 will install a newer version and not update 2.2.
Meaning I would then have a 2.2 and a 2.3 version on the Mac. Is this correct?

2.3 is not (yet) an official release, just a release candidate. "Check for Updates" will install only fully released updates, as far as I know.

I figured it out.  Since I am running on a Mac, LR2.3 installs a stand alone program.
Meaning it does not update or remove LR2.2.
However according to the Website http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Lightroom_2.3 (http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Lightroom_2.3) if you are running on Windows it will remove or update 2.2 to 2.3.

But anyhow I am running LR2.3 now and it is working just fine. Will be removing LR2.2.
