Title: Firewire 800 speed on Macbook Pro running XP through bootcamp?

I wanted to see if anyone had experience using the Firewire 800 port on a MBP to run their digital backs in XP? is the full firewire800 speed accessible?

are we looking at FW400 speeds then? any issues with LC11 in XP using a MBP?
