I've taken the plunge and gone slightly digital. Bought a P45, which uses firewire for tethered shooting. Don't figure I'll do a *lot* of that out in the wild, but for learning and some other situations it'd be the bee's knees, if I had a Windows laptop with integral firewire i/o. I need a new laptop anyway, so are any such available? and where? If not, what's a good work-around?
Thanks,

I just bit on one of these:

64 Bit O/S support, 8GB RAM, 256MB OpenGL Graphics, 1394, eSata, Hi Capacity Battery available, and (at least for me) a *Matte Screen*

You could look at this Belkin Expresscard hub that has two firewire ports in it. Works fine on my MacBook Pro, and comes with 'detailed' instructions for Windows installation.
