i stumbled on this interesting program, it is a photoshop alike. of course it is not a mach to all mighty, but has one significant advantage...it is free.
so if someone has to be legal and shoots jpeg, until it can afford PS here is the info

the only thing that i miss is an exif writer /file info/ so i can caption picture, other than that it is quite useful for PJs work.
