Title: upgrade path for Flexframe 4040

Hi all, I still have one flexframe 4040, 16Mp multishot/microstepback. I was thinking of upgrading towards a more recent model. Does anyone of you know off any possibilities???

This comes from the Hasselblad Trade-up program. As far as I know it still applies. Why the current trade-up program isn't clearly visible on their website is beyond me.

Your 4040 should be upgradeable towards the CF39MS for 11K excl. VAT. for instance.

Maybe a better trade-up deal can be made now for the H3DII31? Would be nice if one of the dealers could shine his light upon this.

      You have several upgrade options from several manufacturers. Yair was kind enough to provide detail on the Leaf options that exist, so I will share some of the options available to upgrade to a current Hasselblad product:

#70380728 Upgrade 16MP MultiShot to H3DII-39 - $23,500.00
#70380755 Upgrade 16MP MultiShot to H3DII-39MS - $27,600.00
#70380754 Upgrade 16MP MultiShot to H3DII-50 - $34,995.00

#70380729 Upgrade 16MP MultiShot to CFII-39 - $17,400.00
#70380730 Upgrade 16MP MultiShot to CFII-39MS - $17,400.00

With promo on the H3DII-31, it is still cheaper to purchase it outright, than upgrade through Hasselblad.

There is other opportunity to trade-in your 4040 with a dealer, where we can apply the trade-in value in more creative ways, to include  the other Hasselblad products. Most of Hasselblad's upgrade paths are designed to get you into the newest 31MP, 39MP, or 50MP systems.

Given the current promotions, and new low price, on the H3DII-31, Hasselblad does not offer any trade-in programs for this model. However, any dealer should be able to take the 4040 (or other models for that matter) in on trade internally, and apply some credit to the purchase of the H3DII-31.
