Title: How can leaf make a 90 degree eye level finder?

Received my Leaf Afi7 today. Just feel curious, there is no visable contacts on the top of the camera body, like Contax 645 does, how Leaf can produce a 90 degree eye level finder with HOT SHOE?

Does anybody know?
