Title: Gitzo 2540 Carbon Fiber Monopod

Has anyone out there ever had any experience with the Gitzo 2540 Carbon Fiber monopod.If yes,would you highly recommend this monopod?Would you know if the Gitzo 2540 Carbon Fiber monopod can support the load of a Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS lens attached to a Canon 40D camera with a BG-E2N battery grip?You see.at present this is my heaviest lens but in the future,I might get the Canon 300 F2.8L IS lens.

 Sorry, but I use Gitzo 3530 & it is fantastic, sturdy holds its position perfectly.
