Title: Nikon CoolScan 9000 Wet or Dry scan?

Just wondering what folks think of wet VS dry scanning?  Is wet worth the extra $$ and time?

I don't know about wet scanning, but I think that standard 120 frame is useless - the film bends and scans become partially unsharp. I bought EH-869G (frame with anti-newton rings glass) and that solved all my problems, and it's even faster to mount the film inside.

Ernst Dinkla is the expert on wet scanning. He originated the idea of mounting film on the underside of the glass carrier. If he doesn't chime in, ask him.
