Does anyone know of any underwater housings for the Leic M8, or anyone who can custom build one?
Thanks,

I've never heard of an UW housing for the M8.  I'm pretty sure none of the mainstream housing manufacturers will be making one for it.  Manual focus lenses will be hard to use underwater, plus the viewfinder will need a magnifiying optic.  If you want to take a smaller camera underwater, then the Canon G9 with the OEM housing will be your best bet.

post on wetpixel.com

some number of people have done strange underwater combinations

without any experience with M8 i would expect it to be very frustrating underwater in comparison to a smallish DSLR with little to be gained in IQ

My suggestion would be to ask Leica Technical direct. If anyone knows they will.
