Title: 1ds mk3 multicontroller

is it really not possibe to use the multicontroller joystick to select focus points à la 5D? all i can find is pressing it to get to the saved focus point.

I did find that a bit weird. OTOH, you can use it to navigate the menus!!!! Go figure! Hey, at least it's some convenience . I use it all the time to go back and forth between the center and other selected AF point for my spot metering, as well as provide me two different focus points when going for max depth of field.

I love this camera.
