Title: Clarity Slider
Post by: Josh-H on December 30, 2007, 05:41:19 pm
Does anyone have a good explanation of the Clarity Slider in Develop?

I have done a little experimenting with it and it seems to me to be very similar to a local contrast enhancement in CS3 using unsharp mask with settings around 20 / 50 / 0.

Yes, that's pretty much what it is. There may be a few differences in implementation, but basically it's just local contrast enhancement.
