I wanted to share a little nice trick I've been using for more stability with my shooting on my Mamiya AFd II.

I use my left hand to hold onto the part that sticks out when shooting horizontally
this gives me a two handed grip which makes the whole setup feel really well balanced, and should work well with other cameras too with a right hand grip.
this nifty item comes in two different plates but I use the hexagonal one because it's more stable.
Of course there's the fringe benefit of a more stable vertical position when mounted on a tripod too....

I do the same thing too,

does it mean if we come to the same conclusion individually it is the correct solution ?

Maybe we can share more solutions for little problems?

How do you guys attach your pocketwizards to your packs? I have velcro on my profoto packs but it doesn't stay well enough...

and where do you place the pocketwizard on your large format cameras?
