Title: Eyedropper in CaptureShop 5.5.1
Post by: sonarthug on December 10, 2007, 12:37:40 pm
Using CaptureShop 5.5.1 with a Sinar eVolution 75. What is the current size of the sampling? Is there a way to change the sampling size of the eyedropper?

Too small

I would like to be able to move its output values by inputting numbers rather than moving the dropper round that tiny colour wheel

It was ajustable in eyelike software before eyelike/sinar became one product line

ps you are obviously sinar user I assume you know that most have given up on CS and use brumbaer/DNG workflow at the mo awatining the exposure software AFAIK

Hope you get a proper reply

Dear sonarthug,

By default, the sampling size is 5x5 pixels.

You can easily change this by editing the preferences:

- go to your "Home" folder ---> "Library" ---> "Preferences" and edit "ch.sinar.captureshop.prefs"

This will open it in "Text Edit":

go down in the list to "Toolbox PickerSize": there you will see that it is set to 5 (5x5).

Change it to the wanted size and saved these new preferences.

Best regards,
Thierry

ADDENDUM: just in case, if it happens that you change any other setting from the edited preferences by mistake, just delete it. CS will open then with the default prefs and re-write new ones once you close the application.
