I'm probably going to Mexico for 3 months, and I'll be taking my equipment with me for what might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, equipment including a 1D Mark III and three 'L' or 'DO' lenses.
The Nikonians.org used to offer insurance for traveling photographers but that plan has now been scuttled.
Normal travel insurance plans are pretty much useless when it comes to replacing lost/stolen expensive photographic equipment, so what do you nice people usually buy to protect your investments while traveling?
Note. I'm based in Hong Kong but will be traveling to Mexico.
