Whenever I pull up a Tiff or PSD file in Bridge and compare it to the same file that's open in Photoshop, the Bridge preview is much softer than the actual image.
Looked around in the preference settings and couldn't find any settings that would be causing this...
Ideas?

Because it's resizing the previews to fit the available screen space, and not re-sharpening after doing the image resizing.

Ahhh.... So is there any way to add sharpening to the preview? (under preferences I have "apply sharpening to all images" already selected)

No. You're looking at something severely downsized to fit on-screen anyway, so there isn't much point unless you're looking at web JPEGs. The "apply sharpening to images" setting is a Camera RAW setting, and I leave it turned off because there are other sharpening tools that do a much better job than ACR.
