The unwanted happenned:
My second Windows pc unit crashed. Something really wrong with the start-up. My tech told me he has to do a deep reformat to the hard-drive.
Even worse:
Since I have PS Cs2 in that disk, I asked Adobe via their website how will I activate again to that PC if I couldn't deactivte it. It will look to them like I'm trying to activate a third unit.
They don't respond.
At least they could use some of the extra revenue they getting from the ridiculous expensive Cs3 upgrade to improve customer support.
I think monopolies are the real antichrist. Think about it.
Can someone help with some information about this?

Call them on the phone. I bet they'll help you out right away.
About once a year, I completely wipe every one of my computers and reinstall everything. I don't enjoy it, but it seems to be a necessary remedy for dealing with all the clutter that builds up in Windows over time. So every time I rebuild a machine, I have to do a fresh install of each Adobe app. Eventually, I reach a point where I'm out of activations for that license. I just call the Adobe 1-800 number, explain the situation, and they work with me to refresh the activations.

You might just try reactivating it; it might work. After having two activations (on my main PC and on a laptop), I recently had to completely reformat the PC's drives, reinstall the OS, etc.; I guessed it would look like a third installation, but I tried it anyway and it reinstalled fine. Maybe they have a record of some identifier associated with your computer and have decided that installing it again on the same computer doesn't count as an additional activation...?

Thank you guys.
I decided to reformat that pc and sell it. So, for the time being I will only have one computer. In a few months I will buy a laptop and liked to install my second Ps Cs2 license ans Cs3 upgrade (already installed last week in my other pc) in it.
Now, what should I do about it?
Should I call them now to tell them about my issue, or wait till I buy my laptop?

I would wait until you purchase your new equipment and are ready to install PS. I had a similar experience. I waited until I installed, phoned Adobe Help Desk, and they immediately de-activated my old installation which allowed me to install on the new PC.

I would definately call them, I am going through the same.
I had a harddrive crash, then I sought, I'd give Vista a try since I had a copy of it from my other system which runs it like a rocket. However this one here didn't like it. anyhow, I managed to activate CS3 twice and on the last one when I removed Vista by doing a format, I forgot that I had to deactivate :-/
So first thing monday I will call, i'll let you know how I go. You still got thirty days to activate!
