The Wiki has received an ISO file from Eric Bullock at Mac Business Solutions for the Photoshop CS3 Universal Binary Plugin.  Available from the front page of the Wiki (http://canonipf5000.wikispaces.com).

Please download only if you need the file, as bandwidth is somewhat limited and file is 35 MB.

Supports following printers:

5000, 8000, 9000, 6400 and 8400.

Apparently for CS3 only per the readme (version 2.05 for Windows also supports CS3 only).
