I was under the impression V11 rc2 now worked with  V8.4.6 ?

I had LC11rc2 running happily with V8.4.4 the other day on a Powerbook G4.

I loaded V11 rc2 on my intel. It uploaded the software and connected the camera. I then went to V8.4.6 and the software uploaded new software?

I think you mean the software uploaded new firmware to the back?

You have to make sure the firmware does not get updated back to V8 when swapping between 11 and 8.

Delete the .upd files of V8 which take care of the firmware.

Thanks, I tried that and it worked. I had to take the firmware file from 11 and drop into V8.
