Title: CS3 raw editor shows ACR 3.6

not really critical, but I was just wondering if anyone knows why the CS3 raw editor still shows the 3.6 version of ACR, even though it's been updated to 4.1 (and shows the new 4.1 features). I know it's just a harmless glitch, but I'm curious to know if others have noticed this also.

The _ONLY WAY_ to determine what _VERSION_ of the plug-in you are running is to (Mac) do an "About Plug-ins" on (Win) Help>About Plug-ins (or go to the plug-in itself and get info).

That will tell you what version you are running...unless you are using Camera Raw 4.1 because Thomas got really, really tired of explaining that the version shown under the CALIBRATE TAB ain't the version of Camera Raw you are using-to he added it to the main title bar of Camera Raw 4.1

The Calibrate Tab_ONLY_shows what version of Camera Raw was used when profiling the camera. If he made a revision somewhere along the way then there will be more than a single number.

Oops, sorry! Didn't mean to further wear out Thomas. Hope he's rested up by now.
As I said, it isn't critical. My "about plugins" shows camera raw as being 4.1, as expected.

Have you checked to see if there's more than one ACR in "about plug-ins"?
