Title: Print Your Own Lens Hood

Free, printable cardboard lenshoods for your 35mm SLR:

Looks like they've got hundreds of patterns covering basically all the popular brands, and while I can think of many many reasons why making a lenshood out of cardboard is a poor substitute for the real thing, I just found the idea to be so strangely compelling that I had to share anyway  


Hoping someone can find a use for this in a pinch,

That's a start, but I'm waiting for free, downloadable, print-your-own L-series Canon lenses.
