Title: From Tiff to Jpeg

Fellows,
I'm a rather newbie in the branch and I would like to ask you for some help.
I use a Nikon 200 and take pictures in Nef (Raw).
In Photoshop CS2 I make some changes in the pictures and write them away as tiff-files.
My problem is: what have I to do to save the tiff-files also in Jpeg-format so I can send them by email?

In photoshop go to Image/Mode then change to 8 bits per channel. Then when you go to save as the jpeg option will be there

"Save for Web" would be the less destructive option.

"Save for web" doesn't perform colourspace conversion, and is pretty slow for large images, though the preview functionality is okay for giving impressions of what the final result may look like.

Also, "save as" and a different file name and/or file type is not destructive for the original image.
