Title: A sudden 50% off Topaz sale starts now
Post by: plugsnpixels on October 22, 2026, 03:29:09 pm
Topaz is currently running a 50% off sale (https://topazlabs.com/ref/5/) on its software bundles and subscriptions starting right now! No need to wait for “Black Friday”…

•Studio Suite: The entire suite, including Topaz Video, Gigapixel, Topaz for Web, and Topaz for Mobile, is 50% off
•Topaz Photo Bundle: Available at 50% off
•Specific App Discounts: Individual plans like Topaz Photo and Topaz Studio are also discounted by 50% for the first year or first three months, depending on the plan structure

See more info and examples on my new blog post (https://plugsandpixels.com/blog/topaz-50-off-sale-is-live-photo-studio/).

An example of Topaz Studio's Denoise option by itself on a grainy 1990's 35mm film scan is attached.

I thought Topaz is bought by Adobe? or am I wrong?

They have been, though Topaz continues as a standalone operation while still offering their usual suite of apps. Adobe has already been absorbing some Topaz technology into their own apps, but as a user on the Topaz forum recently stated, "Topaz functions are already showing up in Photoshop (Gigapixel) and Firefly (video upscaling). Stand alone Topaz products are much more sophisticated."

I've attached a few screenshots of the "Topaz experience" within Photoshop (Denoise, Sharpen and Upscale options) and it's very minimalistic compared to the usual Topaz UI with the many more options.

Nope, not at all.
See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlmQJO03tTY especially if you're and Adobe user (subscriber). Or go directly to 3:45 in the video.
Pretty clear to me what I should (and will) subscribe to.

Thanks Andrew, I'll take a longer look at this video soon. I actually watched this guy the other day talk about Artcraft apps and he got some things wrong, FWIW.
