Hey folks!
Has anyone else had supremely bad luck trying to print on the Awagami Kuzo 42gsm ( a thin Japanese paper) using the Epson p20570? I have tried, upon the advice of both the manufacturer and Epson to turn off the skew reduction, and reduce the suction, and increase the tension. Every time, the print turns the paper into an accordion after printing a few feet.
See pics below.
I'm stumped!

I personally don't know of one but does anyone make a thin Japanese paper with a backer similar to what is on the back of Phototex to stiffen it up?
Here is what I was trying to find, not sure if it would work or not.
If you want an Awagami paper with a removable backing to get an ultra-thin final sheet, you need Awagami Kozo Double-Layered (96gsm total weight, where the top printable kozo sheet peels off a release/backing layer).

I wasn't aware of that one Dan - looks not far different from the Epson Kozo Thin, which I reserve my last few rolls for only a couple of clients.
