Title: Adobe Photoshop Export ipf8400 option is broken
Post by: Kanvas Keepsakes on June 20, 2025, 12:50:35 am
Hey guys!  Wanted to run something by you see if any of you experts know what's going on.  I recently reimaged my PC since I upgraded hardware.  I installed Adobe Photoshop and installed all drivers/software for my ipf8400 printer.  I've only ever used the Export >> ipf8400 function inside Photoshop to print my images.  I can choose paper type/size etc easily and I'm comfortable with this method (before I reimaged).  Now after setting everything up I was getting an error in photoshop when I tried exporting about profile type.  So I downloaded icc files for paper I was using and installed.  Now when I try to go to Export >> ipf8400 it pops up a window asking me to choose my printer.  I choose the ipf8400 with correct IP and press OK then the window just goes away and nothing happens after that.  Tried reinstalling Photoshop and all printer drivers/software and it does the same thing.  Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?  And if not, how else do I open my saved file and print it without using the Export option in Photoshop?

I've never used the Export option to print.  I assume you deleted then re-installed the Plugin?

If you want or need to try to printing from Photoshop the option is 11 rows down from the Export option in your screen capture.  After setting all your parameters in the Print page and the in the Print driver (click on Printer Settings) go back and make sure they didn't move before committing.
