This June 12 article is extremely contemptuous, pretentious, and unnecessarily repetitive.
It's very sad to see such a sad prose on the LuLa.

Agreed. Luminous Landscape used to deliver highly detailed (to the point of eyes glazing over) but more-or-less objective reviews. Re: the X-E5 - I think it only lacks the second card slot and a dedicated ISO dial. And, if I'm going to spend $1500 on a product I want it to look good - what's wrong with that?

I noticed you were both "newbies" so I went and read the article, and unfortunately completely agree.
Jon Swindall this one feels like you used ChatGPT. It's kind of embarrassing and a fluff piece.
The article reads: "Adds nothing to the current lineup, marketing gimmicks, buy the XT5 if you want Fuji APS-C"
What would be useful is a professionals assessment that's shot with the camera, photograph results, sharpness comparisons, sunstar models, wide angle distortion, vignettes, editing with fuji colors... etc.
I used the XT1 pushed it to it's limits, went full frame, (d810) never looked back. But now with my Pixel 9 Pro shooting 40MP photos from my phone telephoto, sharp, and balanced, I'm curious where APS-C has gone.
