I am printing from LR Classic latest version on an iMac M1 with Sequoia 15.3.1 to a Canon Pro 300 with the latest driver and am using Canon ink. I have specified the correct paper in LR and on the printer. When I print people their skin comes out very red, as though they are sun burnt. A white shirt looks right. The skin does not match the screen. This is a recent occurrence.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi Jonathan, if you reprint an earlier print that was okay before, does it come out red too? That would indicate the problem is in your printing workflow/process (rather than a display problem affecting how you adjusted your recent images).
If so, then I'd start working down the usual printer troubleshooting steps. After verifying that I'm using the correct print settings (profile, app manages colour, etc, etc), I'd check the printer itself. I'm in HP land so for me I'd start with some diag test prints from the printer to make sure I don't have an ink delivery issue (low ink, head clog, etc). If it's been sitting unused for quite a while I'd also agitate all the ink carts and do test pattern plots to exercise the heads and burn some ink.
Regardless of what I found/fixed there, I'd then re-calibrate the printer again (tho mine usually prompts for this on its own ~monthly). Then re-profile it again to generate a new .icc profile.
When I've had this issue of people too red or not red enough, it's generally been after I neglected the printer for months and the MK-R printhead was suffering. Trying to recal + reprofile without first fixing the issue usually gave erratic results as the printer's output was drifting significantly with each print.

When is the last time you calibrated your monitor?

Hi Jonathon, did you re-install the driver after installing the latest IOS?
If not, I would put a few cents on that being the problem.

Thanks for the comments. I have now found that if I print on my everyday Canon MG7751 printer on the same paper, I get the same problem as I do on my Canon Pro-300. It therefore appears to be an LR issue. I am running LR Classic 14.2 on an M1 iMac with Sequoia 15.3.1.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

OOPs, I am being stupid!!!! Please disregard the my last post. I printed the wrong file! My Canon MG7751 does print the image OK, so it is a Canon Pro-300 problem, not LR.
I have Canon help on the problem now and they have escalated it, so I am waiting to hear.

Any chance you’re double-profiling? I.e. both printer and LrC trying to manage color? “Going red/magenta” is a typical outcome.
