Title: Fujifilm GFX | D-Tap Battery Power Adapter?
Post by: ken099990 on October 03, 2024, 05:11:57 pm
Anyone using any of these "D-Tap Battery Power adapters" for their GFX?  Are they worth it? Which one are you using?

For example "Neewer VP-NPW235 to D Tap NP-W235 Dummy Battery"
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1812348-REG/neewer_66603582_vp_npw235_dummy_battery_to.html

Thanks in advance,
-Ken

Most cameras will run off native USB-C PD.  Which specific body are you using?  Kondor Blue does a D-Tap to USB-C PD (https://kondorblue.com/collections/usb/products/16-d-tap-to-usb-c-9v-3a-regulated-blue-braided-straight). That way you can swap batteries without the camera going offline.

I may have misunderstood but my GFX50S has a socket on the side for a DC adapter so wondering why you'd need a mains powered dummy battery?
