Inspired by our friend Dave (Isle of Skye)'s recent post from the Grand Canyon, here are two smoky ones from the Alps. The first from the Dolomites (morning), Italian Alps, the other from Slovenian Alps (afternoon):

Yes I agree with all the comments so far and thanks for the plug Slobodan, for my little picture of the Gran Canyon, found elsewhere on this forum.
The first one in particular is stunning. Both great, but the first one gets the chef's kiss for me.
I have never been to the Alps, but seeing your work here now Slobodan, I think I might have go at some point and have a crack at these peaks for myself.

For me the first, just love the capture of distance, without foreground/background contrast.
Both are indeed almost equal in some respects.

Good question. I do not know the answer. Both were shot at 200 mm.
