Title: Topaz Photo AI 2.2.0: Point-and-click masking
Post by: plugsnpixels on November 04, 2023, 01:48:15 pm: Topaz Photo AI version 2.1.0 (https://www.topazlabs.com/shop/ref/5/) is a big release with the initial implementation of a new feature called "Remove Tool". This feature allows you to remove objects from photos by simply masking them out.

Samples show removal of an unwanted object from an earlier AI-generated image with 4X enlargement plus lighting and color adjustment.

This particular photo was taken on a visit to Catalina Island back around 1990. Something went wonky with my Canon lens and the aperture was stuck open, it seems.

I was pleased to see that Photo AI maintained the bokeh effect in its restoration.

I was going to say "good eye!" kers but i think the alignment is good.

The restoration of the eyes makes them look longer, whereas in the original the ends fade into pixel mush.
