A sloop named "Guinevere" sails passed the old and now defunct Sparrow Point steel mill. This photo was taken in the early 2000s when the mill was operating albeit at a minimal level. The mill serves as a nice contrast to this beautiful sailboat.
I've applied a fair degree of artistic license in processing this image. I trust you'll find it appealing and different.
C&C welcomed.

Love the subject, but the vignetting turns me off big time.

Yes, I agree, vignette is a bit too strong. Other than that, it's a beautiful shot with a dreamy mood.
-
I agree with both the positive and negative comments.

Frans, Francois and Mark: Thank you for taking the time to comment. I take full credit for the vignette: I wanted it emphasized, but knew in advance it wasn't for everyone. C'est la vie.

I'm not against vignetting but here, it's just too strong...

A different version of the same photograph with much less vignetting. Thanks for the advice!

This one is much better... at least for me.
-
Same here!
-
I agree.
