Title: Nature's Colour Triad
Post by: Leszek Piotrowski on August 31, 2023, 05:03:18 pm
When I saw this,  not sure why at the time,... but did capture the scene. Guess the colour "contrasts" caught my eye.

Late summer, the berries look ripe,  but the forward leaves the berries hang from are not that "green" as were the other ones.

Yes, the color contrast is pleasant and uncommon. The purple leaves struck me immediately.
I like it a lot.

I like the image and the purple leaves.  Could use maybe a bit more breathing room.

Yes, a little more room is nice.

Yes, never saw this either,...

Scene as I nearly missed it.

I still wonder why these leaves on this berry plant,... turned so wonderfully "blue-purple".

Who Know's?

I like the one with a bit more room better.  But of course, this cropping business is somewhat a matter of taste.

Francois, thanks,

I looked again at this scene, and wondered why the "dying" leaflets, ( I presume ) are turning purple,.. rather than the "normal" range of orange and reds?
Guess these leaflets do not carry the same "chlorophyll "DNA" as Sugar or Red Maples do.

Well that was my aftter thought.

cheers,

Whatever the reason, I like the look... it's very different  and I like it.

Second one with more room appeals to me more, but I am pretty sure had I seen this color combo, I too would have shot it.
