Here’s one that borders on an abstract. Fallen trees, with their myriad of holes, gnarls, knots, and what-have-you, never fail to fascinate me. I often find myself in deep contemplation while gazing at such objects, such as this hole-riddled tree trunk. There’s beauty in everything, if you only spend the time to look and keep an open mind.
