Title: Wooden Metaverse

Here’s one that borders on an abstract. Fallen trees, with their myriad of holes, gnarls, knots, and what-have-you, never fail to fascinate me. I often find myself in deep contemplation while gazing at such objects, such as this hole-riddled tree trunk. There’s beauty in everything, if you only spend the time to look and keep an open mind.

Very nice, Bob. The intricate patterns in both standing and fallen trees are some of my favorite subjects, too.

Interesting with many elements in the frame. There's so much going on that I fail get get my eyes glued to a strong point…
