Is there a way to identify a certain kind of subject via AI in Lightroom or a compatible plugin? Let's say I want to add a keyword to all images with "cactus" in my catalog. Does anyone know if this is possible? Could I have heard that ON1 has this capability? Of course, that would leave me SOL.

As far as I know, Lightroom doesn't natively support AI-based subject identification, but there are plugins available. Excire Foto, for example, is a great one that uses AI to recognize and tag subjects in photos, and it integrates nicely with Lightroom. As for ON1, it does have a feature that uses AI for keywording. So yes, you're not mistaken. Hope this helps!

Thank you, Bozzdivine, appreciate the reply.

I believe that Lightroom in the cloud (which I don't use) can identify subjects by name in images. I have no idea how well it works, but found it when I did a search on the web.
