Title: Wichita Mountains

Last week left town early to drive 90 miles to Lawton, OK, to photograph a house only to be told when I got there that it would need to be rescheduled. Fortunately, Lawton is right next to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge so I was not upset about having a free morning. The refuge is in full bloom and really dressed for spring, so here are a few little things there.

1. Indian Blanket (Gaillardia, Firewheel), the Oklahoma state wildflower, and it's everywhere on the refuge.
2. White-lined Sphinx Moth (Hummingbird Moth).
3. Shoreline of Quannah Parker Lake.
4. White-faced Ibis on the shore of Quannah Parker Lake

All of them are very nice. My favorite is the moth.

Very nice set. I'm glad you found out a way to benefit of your business trip!
I love the first one but it's the second one that grabs my attention. Vibrant colors, composition is excellent you the smooth background is perfect.
Well done.
