As an exercise about perspective, which solely depends on thesubect-camera distance, being independent of the camera focal lens used, I have done an animation of how Earth continents and borders are seen from space. Source data are around 40K (longitude, latitude) pairs, which in a flat map look like this:

Once we travel into space and look at the Earth with a linear projection camera, we get this (simulated distances range from Moon distance (376.891km km) and ISS altitude (408 km):
