Title: Smokehouse
Post by: PeterAit on March 22, 2023, 10:56:25 am

Taken on Iles de la Madeleine, a small archipelago in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This is a herring smoke house where in season they smoke vast numbers of herring for the market. The symmetry and simplicity caught my eye.

Well seen, Peter. That is a very compelling motif.

I'm taken... by it.

looking forward to other images. I looked over the photographs of Iles de la Madeleine on google images, and can see why it caught your attention.

Simple elements like rectangles and mostly bi-color but what a lovely shot.
