I always enjoy articles from Steve Hendrix. I appreciate that he shares his insights, tips, and knowledge.

I had the chance to spend a few minutes with the X2D in studio a few weeks ago. There are indeed many things to like and it is clearly a much more refined camera compared to the X1D. So well done Hasselblad.
The one aspect that remains problematic to me is focusing. The lens mounted when I tried was not one of the new f2.5 ones so it was not optimal, but AF speed still felt slow to me.
So I am afraid that in the end not much really changes from that standpoint, either you shoot at f8 on mostly static subjects and any camera does the job (even an P1 XF) or it moves and then need 35mm. The lack of eye AF is really a huge problem to me for a camera designed to shoot people with studio strobes.

For some, the X2D 100C is the best choice to satisfy their needs and preferences and for others it isn't. In the end, not much really changes from that standpoint — and is the same for every other camera model.

Do any other camera models have live histogram?
If do they cost more than 8k to have that included?
