Clematis Seed Tuft

A macrophotograph of a Clematis seed tuft rendered with three different intents. The first and most obvious is a straight-forward processing for the details and fine structure of the tufts in color. The second, monochrome tinted photograph was processed to blur parts of the image, with a vision of the type of photographs Sally Mann creates. And, the third - a wet plate rendered version and also monochrome tinted - is most definitely an homage to Sally Mann, unworthy as it is. My exploration of Mann’s vision has only just begun. Expect more to come shortly!

Clematis Seed Tuft, A Second Look

Three additional visions of the Clematis seed tuft. I happen to enjoy the reflection, as the center looks like a mouth and adds an ominous touch to the photo. The other two are LAB color renditions, just for a bit of fun.

Bob, I have to say that your first set left me a bit indifferent.  Your second set I really enjoyed.
