The roll out doesn't take place all at once so if you don't see updates in Creative Cloud, it may show up within the next 24 hours or so.
-
Just worked 5 minutes with it and it already is a very valuable update!
The persons selection works great.

At first, I didn't see the updates in my CC app this morning (I'm on a Mac, just in case there are differences).
But I was able to see them as soon as I clicked on "Check for updates" in the upper right of the Apps/Updates page.

any glitches or bugs so far ?
Victoria Bampton is reporting a couple of new issues (https://www.lightroomqueen.com/whats-new-in-lightroom-classic-12-0/). Her weblog is a good source of validated information about bugs in recently-released Lightroom revs as well as new features. Also see Adobe's customer support site. No problems here so far on Windows 10.
Some of the features I've tried are not working as well as advertised, but that's no surprise.
A few nice improvements, but disappointing there's no progress in some areas.

I just used the new Content-Aware Remove functionality of the healing tool for the first time. Impressive: it seems to have acquired some sophisticated intelligence I previously associated with Photoshop's content-aware fill. Yet another feature that should reduce the number Photoshop round-trips and permit final editing of more images in an undiluted raw workflow.
The new masking features strike me as rather less mature—although I suspect they will improve as Adobe feeds more samples into its neural network training set.

I'm really not seeing that here. I've tried it on 40 or 50 images and only 1 or 2 have worked well enough (and that's been on images that existing tools would have no problem with). Quite often the old heal tool has worked better.

A new feature for me is that the arrow keys no longer work to navigate the folders catalogue. No matter where I click in the folders, the focus is always on the film strip at the bottom, meaning I can no longer expand folders, etc, without having to move the mouse. That qualifies as a new feature, doesn't it? :D

LRC 12.01 is released. It fixes the problem where LR would not run if your catalog is on an external drive

After updating (v 23.5.3) Photoshop to Photoshop 2023, I noticed that saving files was much slower than the older version. I tested several files, and the older version took 2 seconds and the new version took 6 seconds. I uninstalled the 2023 version and will wait until a bug fix update to try again.
Mac OS Monterey
Boot drive where Photoshop is is Mac M1 Studio, files saved to external SSD drive

FWIW, unlikey to be a 'bug' considering I am using the same OS and versions, see no difference in saving. But by all means, file a report above.
