Iceland is never disappointing for those kinds of gems. Many interpretations are possible!
The other shots on your blog are also stunning and the small parking lot helps to understand the huge size of this golden eye.

I am completely at a loss to determine the scale of that thing. Is it the size of an egg, sunny side up, or the size of a football field? And, of course, great image!
