Title: PSE 2021 doesn't show preview thumbnails of copied Nikon Z 50 NEF RAW files

Really weird and a royal pain in the neck. When I open files from the camera itself using a USB cable, I get preview thumbnails, albeit with a unexpected black top and bottom border, but when I open copies of the same files residing on my Windows 10 PC I don't get preview thumbnails. Doesn't matter if I copy the files with or without the folders. NEF RAW files of the Nikon D70 work just fine.

Anybody know what's going on and what to do to remedy this situation?

Have you got the required codec loaded on your system for z5?

Downloaded the NEF Codec and all is well. Thanks for your help.
